HI, Looking forward to updating support for MAYA2024,
Bridge Metahuman now support Maya 2024
We will add support here as well soon.
Any update on this? The precompiled _py3dna is still capped at 3.9 with Maya2023. If there are build instructions I can take a look and submit a PR. I've generated the solution from the cmake but have yet to figured out where to define target python version.
Since Bridge has supported MAYA2024, you can copy Bridge embeddedRL4.mll and MayaUERBFPlugin.mll to this project path. Specifically, if your bridge default dir is F:, you can copy the files in
"F:\support\plugins\maya\7.2\MSLiveLink\DHI\plugins\Windows\2024"
to"C:\Users\Admin\Documents\maya\2024\plug-ins"
, then everything works well. Note that if you do not know what is the bridge`s default dir, I believe you might have downloaded some MetaHuman Identities, they are the same dir, for example my identities are at "F:\Downloaded\DHI\7e8kfiekjf\8k\asset_source\MetaHumans\Taro\SourceAssets"Support for Maya 2024 has been added in 1.3.0 release.
